Payroll prep without the Friday scramble
The week's hours arrive reviewed and approved, the export locks, and every labor report reads from the same records payroll was prepared from.
Approve. Lock. Export. Done.
CrewAware prepares payroll-ready records and exports. It does not file payroll taxes, pay employees or submit directly to a payroll provider — your payroll process consumes what CrewAware proves.
The three reports you’ll open every week
Twelve professional reports cover the rest of the questions — printable, exportable, and read from the same reviewed records:
- Time summary
- Payroll preparation summary
- Attendance exceptions
- Project labor summary
- Employee attendance detail
- Crew labor summary
- Approval status
- Payroll export reconciliation
- Leave balance summary
- Leave request activity
- Approved leave for payroll
- Leave accrual ledger
Good exports start at the punch
Payroll prep is only as good as the records feeding it — which is why CrewAware's time tracking and GPS evidence exist in the first place.

Payroll and reporting questions
Does CrewAware run our payroll?
No. CrewAware prepares payroll-ready records: reviewed hours, approvals, and exports you can lock. It does not calculate or file payroll taxes, pay employees, or submit to a payroll provider on your behalf. Your payroll process consumes what CrewAware proves.
How does time get from the field to payroll?
The office reviews the period's entries and resolves exceptions, approves time in batches for the pay period, then builds and reviews the payroll export and locks it. Every step is on the record, so the number payroll starts from has a name attached to it.
What reporting comes with it?
Daily Labor, Project Summary and Employee Labor Summary answer the everyday questions — who worked, on what, and what it cost in hours. Beyond those, the report catalog covers payroll preparation, attendance exceptions, approval status, export reconciliation and leave balances, printable and exportable.
Can we get our data out?
Yes. Time-entry data exports to CSV and payroll exports are downloadable, so what leaves CrewAware is the same reviewed record the office worked from. Your company's workspace data belongs to your company.
